Adab Al Mufrad: A Code For Everyday Living
A Code For Everyday Living
In this series, you will learn basic codes of living in the light of a topical book of hadiths collected by Muhammad al-Bukhari addressing the question of perfecting Muslim manners in a very elaborate manner called, " Al-Adab al-Mufrad ".
Basic manners and etiquettes are taught to us since birth but they are way more significant when it comes to being a well-mannered muslim. Muslims should be recognisable at first glance but appearances can be deceiving and they can make the judgement non-reliable or unauthentic. When a muslim is in the company of a non-muslim, the former should be identifiable by his ethnicity in the form of basic etiquettes which include everything from the way a person stands to the way he carries out his day to day activities.
Etiquettes make a person stand out and be remembered for them and the way our religion preaches the importance of having basic manners can hardly go unnoticed.
In this episode of the series "Al-Adab-Al-Mufrad" you will learn about the importance of being a good neighbor. Abdullah bin Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
"The companion who is the best to Allah is the one who is best to his companion. And the neighbor that is the best to Allah is the one that is best to his neighbor." [Tirmidhi]
